Really like this photo. Good timing and placement. Not easy to capture. Even the seemingly dirty knees of the girl with the dirt on the person in the ad, along with the red placement, it all comes together nicely.
Great capture. I don`t really like selective colored shots but this touch of red gives a nice mood for your photo. Otherwise, let me congratulate to you for this wonderful portfolio you have here. Your shots made me longing for more street photos. Regards,
Csaba
Which M8 are you using. The original or M8.2 and what do you think of it. Are you done with film? What about the problems with it and the need for UV filters.

original M8, most of my stuff is b/w, so I skipped on the IR filters... I'm loving it & barely shoot film anymore - mostly for time & convenience reasons
I thinkt ht this is stunning. It's almost black and white, but the reds pop and make it even more exciting to look at. Great work, Markus. I have been following your work for some months, but for some reason, this one motivated me to leave a comment.
Another excellent shot. The reds definitely pull it all together.
By the way, thanks for posting the 'depth of field' chart on your site. Your tutorial section is an invaluable source of information. Great refresher for all street shooters, seasoned or otherwise.
Nice knees, well to be honest they llok as thought they could do with some TLC.
I detest those Levis posters, infact Im sick of all advertising.
Otherwise the summer is great and I love all those hot girls walking aorund. I think my summilux gets a boner.

Urban scenes are not always beautiful, but that's the photographer's tour de force to find beauty and to reveal it almost everywhere, by the grace of the composition as it has been made here, with for instance reds responding each other.
Gorgeous shot Markus. Reminds me a lot of the type of photography I love to take by incorporating ads. I feel the desaturated colors work very well here.

Really like the selective use of red against the desat. Works beautifully in this composition.
