Nice shot, I like the contrast between the people turning their backs away and the expression on the face of the woman. I made a similar shot showing the contrast rich - poor a few weeks ago :)
I've walked past her on Fifth Avenue at least two dozen times over the past few years. I can't determine whether she is putting on an act or is truly handicapped... Nonetheless, well captured.

This is my first visit on your blog. And I just have to complement your eye for subjects and the excellent b/w images you make.
This one is classic reportage-style which I love. The composition is very good, since you can't see anyone in the direction the woman is facing, and it's shot like you weren't noticed at all.
