Hey Markus. The edit makes this photo very nice.
Would you recommend that combination of Canon + Nikon?
I was thinking of getting an adapter for OMZ lenses (I think you had mentioned that before), but I never thought of getting a Nikon adapter. Maybe with Nikon I'd get better accessibility for lenses @ school (photojournalism programme in sept.) than with OMZ.
Adios,

hello Dario,
so far I like the combination a *lot*, focusing with the
small Canon 10D screen is impossible, but that was
not the point of this experiment. In the streets, I zone
focus 99% of the time. I may get a split screen though.
AF is hit and miss and the modern lenses are impossible
to set accurately in manual mode.
Anyways, I thought of an Olympus adapter first, since
I had an OM-1 once and the lenses are fab.
After doing some research, I read about lens register
and found out that thin adapters are harder to make -
and the cheap "made in China" adapters are crap.
The Nikon mount has the largest register and with that
the thickest EOS adapter. Besides, I was able to pick the
thing up in the city. The Adorama adapter is of good quality.
One more thing - it seems there are tons of Nikon lenses
out there and the variety is much larger than OMZ's, the
prices are similar though.

Beautiful shot.
I love the retro black and white feel.

Markus this is a lovely shot, these water hydrants seem to be always leaking, I love the framing and the almost monotone feel, exc..
